The London Eye


The London Eye, or Millennium Wheel, was officially called the British Airways London Eye and then the Merlin Entertainments London Eye.
The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel situated on the banks of the River Thames in London, England.
It was built in 1998-1999, it was inaugurated on December 31st 1999.
One ticket costs £17,28 for 30 minutes.
Every December 31st , there are a fireworks.


SOHO


The term «Soho» originally means hunting shouts , back in the time when it was a little village in the fields.
Soho is a district of the City of Wesminter and part of the West end of London.
After the fire in 1666 (The Great Fire of London was a major conflagration that swept through the central parts of the English city of London, from Sunday, 2nd September to Wednesday, 5th September 1666), Soho began to get urbanized.
Now Soho is a small, multicultural area, home to industry, commerce and culture, as well as a residential area for both rich and poor.
There are theatres, shops etc...


OXFORD STREET


Oxford Street runs for approximately one and a half miles from Marble Arch at the north east corner of Hyde Park.
There are a lot of diverse shops.
It won the award of the longest street in the world.
It crosses Charing Cross Road,Oxford Street is the road where is situated « the Leaky cauldron” in Harry Potter.
