The Museum of London Docklands

The Museum of London - Docklands is in London, West India Quay on Canary Wharf.

This museum was established in the old buildings that stored sugar and spices which came from India. It shows the impact of port activities on the social and economic life of Londoners over two milleniums.
A reconstruction of the living conditions of dockers has even been built.
Docks of the same name were formerly part of the Port of London, one of the world's largest in its country.

The museum is open from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
It's free for all.

London, Sugar & Slavery

You can visit the permanent exhibition that examines London’s involvement in transatlantic slavery in the thought-provoking gallery, "London, Sugar & Slavery".

In the setting of this historic sugar warehouse, you will challenge long-held beliefs that abolition was initiated by politicians and be touched by the real objects, personal stories and vibrant art and music that have left their legacy on the capital today.
