The Millenium Stadium in Cardiff

The Millennium Stadium is in the heart of Cardiff. The Millenium Stadium opened on 26th July 1996.The stadium project cost around £130m.

The shape of the stadium is oval. The stadium capacity is 72,500 people.  Its dimensions are 105mx68m, which is almost as big as the Stade de France. 
The Millenium Stadium is situated in Cardiff in the South of Wales.

USES OF THE MILLENIUM STADIUM

It is an incredible stadium for British rugby and for others sport and for big stars concert.
 The Millenium Stadium is used for the Welsh rugby XV's team.
The Stadium belongs to the Welsh Rugby Union.
Numerous stars have had concerts at this stadium: Paul Mc Cartney, Madonna, Tina Turner and The Rolling Stones.

The millenium stadium is also sometimes transformed into a ground of motocross .The transformation is impressive. Races occur in this stadium, and the speed and the noise are there!

AN AMAZING BUILDING

The construction of the Millenium Stadium was a turning point in the world of the sport because today the architects and the engineers of the whole world are inspired by it to build new stadiums .The architects took the descision to build a part of the stadium above the river because he didn't have enough square meters.
