On the Road in the United Kingdom

                                         



TRAFFIC SIGNS

Signs are different in England than in Wales because people do not speak the same language.

ln Wales, the first languages are English and Welsh so trafic signs are different from England.

The fine tickets for speeding are now transmitted between European countries and will follow you after your return to France.



RULES ON THE ROAD

In general :

- you always overtake on the right

- you drive on the left.

- Speed limits are given in miles per hour and not in km/h.

-There are radars everywhere.

-Traffic lights In Great Britain, change from red to yellow to green, and not directly from red to green.



THE MAIN AREAS OF RISK

The narrow lanes of the English countryside bordered by hedges and greenery, you can take a turn and find a car oncoming. In case you are surprised, quickly keep left, despite your reflexes.
